There is something about blogging on a company website that provides a sense of legitimacy that reads differently than other platforms. I don’t want this blog to feel cliche; if I’m going to write – I want it to be interesting, slightly different and informative.
This summer, it has become more apparent how important it is to be connected with the right people. My good friend Mike is back for morning shifts and that has been a great blessing. Mike has his own business and has been with the shop on/off for 20 years. When we really need someone to fill in for awhile, he’s there. Sam is back for the start of IU’s first semester. Sam is studying Healthcare Administration – and we’re so glad to have this devoted employee on board. Customers love these guys – you will, too.
Every detail shop – especially in the Midwest – needs wholesale accounts to fill gaps in the schedule. There have been changes in our accounts that are out of my control, and we’re still navigating those changes. I have faith that these changes are going to be positive in nature over time. My entrepreneurial rubber is hitting the road, and it’s time to burn rubber.
After some meetings with a fellow entrepreneur who owns a marketing firm, we’ve made seemingly necessary changes to our online presence. We’re finding our stride in the salesmanship of ceramic coating. We’ve added a new service, which is windshield repair. We’ve become an affiliate marketer for Amazon. We’re starting to showcase different (and more relatable) types of vehicles in short – form social media platforms. Lastly, we’re making changes to our website. Every time we install another ceramic coating, I’m more impressed with it than the job before. As a result, we’re working to bring ceramic coating to the forefront of our company.
That’s what’s new at Executive Detailing. Always looking to improve. Gotta go – there’s more work to be done.
Until next time…
